Our History
Straight Line Communications has been built from the bottom-up by Scott and Laura Ohlwein. Scott held an industry sales position for more than 30 years and felt he could improve on the regional services that were then available. In 2000, he and his wife, Laura, launched Straight Line Communications in Deltona, Florida, with an emphasis on delivering the best products available with exceptional service - all on-time and on-budget.
At first, the business was run out of their home, but as the company grew, they were able to hire their first employees. Within a few years, Straight Line had outgrown its existing office space, and in 2006, the company purchased its current offices. It has continued to grow as its reputation for excellent and reliable service spread throughout central Florida.
In recent years, Straight Line has continued to grow its business. The company now boasts 10 employees and is aggressively expanding into new markets.
